The Play Date

One Saturday I invited my friends to come over to my house. Stevie and Jaren came over for a play date, they arrived at 2:00 pm. First we played my Wii. We inserted the disc “Super Smash Brothers Brawl”. First we played “Multiplayer”. We played the Wii the WHOLE afternoon.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Meanwhile, we were still playing nicely and kindly mom (Gretchen Varela, the author of "When Kids Speak" or whenkidsspeak.blogspot.com) prepared us some snacks.  I had to help by preparing the water.
Green Toon Link

When we were playing,we switched it to team battle (me and Stevie were teams).  Stevie and I picked the character "Green Toon Link" and our enemy or the cpu was the"Red Links". Surprisingly, Jaren was busy playing with my Beyblades!  He did not want to play the Wii. After defeating the "Red Links", amazingly Stevie had more kills than I did! He had 11 and I had 9.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

A few minutes later, we switched the game to "New Super Mario Bros".  I was on world 8, which is the last world.  I was on 8-6 (world 8, level 6).  Mario's (or my) life was 60. We had lost many lives, so many that i made it to 20 lives! Finally after beating level 6 and 7 we finally reached the final level.... THE BOWSER CASTLE!!!!! But i had 5 lives! So we had to go back to World 1 to get lots of 1ups. But we had a new problem.....a toad needed our help! We refused to help the toad and we went to 1-1(world 1 level 1).  That helped though but the bowser castle was hard!  We didn't give up.  Still we didn't beat him, so we decided to beat him another time.  That was fun!

Bowser Castle
What i learned is to always have good friends because they are good playmates. I might even invite them again next Saturday!

My Tricycle and Jeep Experience

For other people, riding a tricycle and a jeep could be uncomfortable and sad…. but for me it was a little fun. Lets start with how the day went. It was an early afternoon and we were getting ready.  Since we were planning to ride the tricycle and jeep, we had to look like the other travelers.  I wanted to wear my heelys (roller skates) but mom said "Why don’t you you give your heelys a rest?” At first I did not agree, but then I knew she was right. "Ill wear my other shoes instead ”I said. Then we had to walk out of the house to find a tricycle.

This is me trying to catch up with my Mom and Sister outside of the house.
When we found one, it took us to Mcdonald's La Salle.
I'm holding on to the rails of the tricycle so I won't fall off.
On our way to Mc Donald's La Salle.

I was about to pay for my tricycle ride, P6. My sister treated me!

After that, we rode a jeep to Robinsons (the mall). I felt uncomfortable at first. Then I thought a BETTER idea. I saw a guy riding at the back steps of the jeep. So after he went down, I asked Mom if I could try it and surprisingly she said yes.  It was so fun!

That's me and Ella trying to relax in the jeep.

Then we had to walk up at the over pass.  It was also my first time to do that.  It was a little tiring.

Walking at the overpass.

Almost at the main entrance of Robinson's.

Then we finally arrived at Robinsons!

I learned that as a person who rides the jeep, it is very uncomfortable.  I am glad that our family has cars. I also realized that I have to be thankful for our transportation.  And that was my tricycle and jeep experience. What a trip! Would I do it again? Maybe :)
